President’s Report

President’s Message

It is a very exciting time to become the president of the Lions Club of Bullcreek in the year when we will be celebrating the 100 years of the formation of Lions Movement in 1917. The organisation has grown to be one of the largest service organisation in the world with over 1.5 million members.

I am honoured to serve this club with wonderful members who has been serving our community since 1970. This club has pioneered lots of projects from the Australia Day Breakfast to donating paintings to Fiona Stanley Hospital.

I would like to thank Lion Jean-Marc for his leadership in the last two years and his team for the work they have done to keep our flag flying high.   It is the members that makes any club. I am very proud of our members. I am also very pleased that most of the Board members have renominated to be on the board this centenary year.  I am keen to support our young people, Women in Violent relationship, McCusker Foundation for Alzheimer's research and environmental projects. This will be part of our Centennial Challenge.

One more member gives us two more hands to do service in our community, at home and internationally.  So please our mission will also be to bring one new member per person to join the club.

Benefits of being a member include fellowship, fun through service to community, networking, building lasting friendships, learning new skills, leadership and personal development.

I hope as a club, we will grow and reach new heights through the continued good work in our service  to the community.
