WA’s ANZAC Day Dawn Service in Kings Park is the largest Dawn Service in the world and the ANZAC Day march through Perth and Service on the Esplanade is the state’s most significant commemorative community event.  For the past three years, the Returned & Services League Australia WA Branch, Rotary Clubs of WA, the Lions Club of Bull Creek and community volunteers have hosted the annual Gunfire Breakfast in Stirling Gardens Perth from 7 am until 9 am on April 25 between the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in Kings Park and the march and service on The Esplanade.

Volunteers from Rotary and Bull Creek Lions cook and serve a traditional Aussie breakfast of sausages, eggs, tomatoes, onions and bread rolls. Orange juice, coffee, tea and ANZAC cookies are served by community volunteers.

There is no charge for the breakfast, but the public is invited to make a gold coin donation, which our Club donates to the RSL.

The ANZAC Day Gunfire Breakfast is coordinated by Celebrate WA and partners RSL WA Branch, Rotary Clubs of WA and the Lions Club of Bull Creek with the generous support of Lotterywest, Bell-Vista Fruit & Vegetable Co Ltd, Golden Egg Farms, Dorsogna, Bakers Delight Holdings, Harvey Fresh Limited, Coles and the City of Perth.
